Ingredients

  • 4 hake fillets
  • Salt
  • 1 teaspoon of fish seasoning
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Ingredients for chard with potatoes:

  • 500g of potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 1 bunch of Swiss chard, washed and chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Prepare three shallow dishes. Put the flour in the first, beat the eggs in the second, and mix the breadcrumbs, ff spice, salt and black pepper in the third.
  2. Salt and pepper the hake fillet to taste.
  3. Roll each hake fillet in flour, then dip in eggs and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Put the oil in a pan and heat it over medium heat.
  5. Fry the hake fillets until they are golden brown on both sides. This usually takes about 3-4 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the fillet.

 

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until soft. Drain the water and keep the potatoes aside.
  2. Heat a little olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and saute for a few seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the Swiss chard and cook until wilted and soft.
  4. Add the potato rings to the pan with the Swiss chard and mix gently.
  5. Cook everything together for a few more minutes, add salt and pepper to taste.
