These biscuits are a perfect combination of crispiness, wine, and the original Fjori Fora Spice that adds a special touch to every dish. Ingredients

  • 220g margarine
  • 2 dl white wine
  • 1 baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dl extra virgin olive oil
  • 700g all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 teaspoons Fjori fora Spice for every recipe
  • Seeds of your choice (such as flaxseed, sesame, etc.)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together margarine, white wine, baking powder, salt, and olive oil.
  3. Add all-purpose flour to the margarine mixture and mix well until you get a dough.
  4. Add the seed mixture to the dough and mix again. Shape the dough into a log, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and slice it into discs about 1/2 cm thick. Place the biscuit rounds on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Beat the egg and lightly brush the tops of the biscuits.
  7. Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they turn lightly golden brown.
  8. Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool completely before serving.
