Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, diced

  • 2 teaspoons Fjori’s Flavor Spice for pasta
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold butter and use a fork or your fingers to rub it into the dry ingredients until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  4. Add the fresh cheese and Fjori’s Flavor Spice, and mix well.
  5. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring until the ingredients come together and form a dough.
  6. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead it a few times until it becomes smooth.
  7. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1 cm (1/2 inch).
  8. Use a cookie cutter or a glass with a diameter of about 5 cm (2 inches) to cut out rounds from the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
